New Mavic, is something wrong?
Had same issue using Sony z3 I now use Samsung tab s with no issues. Make sure you have no apps running in background and your phone memory as spare space. -

Have you tried using USB port at the bottom of the controller with phone/tablet charging lead. I have no problem connecting with Sony z3 or tab s. I just have issues with lag on the tab s screen. -

Still have full bars on controller it must be a glitch. It doesn't fill me with confidence when I see it I always bring it home. -

I used a phone screen recorder then screen shot it. Picture quality on my z3 is really good this picture does not do it justice. -

This has happened twice, the rc still has full bars and the Mavic flys normal. Why does the controller symbol turn grey with no warnings. -
