US will unleash 'drone dominance' by fast-tracking production

These are the list of drones approved by the US military. https://www.diu.mil/blue-uas-cleared-list Interesting designs. But if they're going to use drones like ammo, that is a lot of them are FPV kamikaze drones like the way the Ukraine military is using them can they produce these in huge...

US will unleash 'drone dominance' by fast-tracking production

We haven't heard any talk of manufacturers setting up factories to build drones in the US, have we? It would take years and tons of capital. Not to mention the money it takes to market a new or rebooted drone brand. People claim that if iPhones were made in the US, they'd cost over $3000...

360 panos automatically shoot in JPEG?

Hmm, never heard of Panovolo. Have you tried Lightroom Classic? How would you compare them? Does Panvovolo produce a DNG pano or just JPG?

It's just under $4200 at current exchange rates.

US will unleash 'drone dominance' by fast-tracking production

So Congress is interested in deploying drone defenses at all military air bases and other installations against the type of drone attacks which Ukraine carried out to destroy several Russian strategic bombers in Operation Spiderweb. There was a recent test of small drones by the Dept. of...

US will unleash 'drone dominance' by fast-tracking production

Or just check TX, which has built a lot of wind turbines In 2023, wind represented 28.6% of all electricity generated in the state. And that percentage is going up because TX continues to deploy more wind and solar, which produces electricity at a lower cost than other sources of power.

Air 3 Western Norway is the best part of Norway!

Just stunning. Makes me want to research these places for possible visits. And of course for flying my drones.

360 panos automatically shoot in JPEG?

I shot some manually because the Air 3S thought the wide angle lens was attached and wouldn’t do any of the built in pano modes. Then I landed it and re-fit the polarizer and went backup to shoot automated, since it groups the shots together. Otherwise, single DNGs end up in the media folder...

360 panos automatically shoot in JPEG?

Shot a bunch of panos and the free form ones are DNGs in their own folder. But the 360 panos are JPG. Is there some separate setting for file type for 360 panos or the Air 3S only shoots 360 panos in JPG? I think I shot one free form pano with the 3X camera which ended up being 28 shots and...

Going to try to attach some panos out of the drone.

    First real flight today.

Moved to a different part of France, this time the northern coast, which has beautiful white cliffs with limestone stacks which have unusual shapes. They call them falaises off the coast of Etretat. First afternoon that I arrived I hiked up without the drone. I concentrated on taking photos...

    First real flight today.

Are people seeing the same thing when it loses signal with the aircraft? It doesn't automatically RTH on its own. I had to initiate it with the RTH button on the controller at least twice before it started coming closer enough to home, maybe 25-50 meters from it's previous position, before...

    First real flight today.

Yeah I landed and left, drove down about 4-5 miles where it was only a 50 meter zone and flew without incident. I could have probably hiked maybe half a mile, though it would have been up and down and again, I wasn't sure if there would be a nice flat terrain from which I could take off. I...

    First real flight today.

It was in the Southern coast of France, near San Raphael. The terrain is a rocky coast with red rocky mountains rising above the water. I went to a rocky headland called Cape Draymont. There is a hiking trail which leads out toward the water but I didn’t head out too far because I wasn’t sure...
