You have 3 types, dji assistant 2 = old drones, dji assistant 2 consumer drone series = Newer drones - not old mavic pro , then dji assistant 2 enterprise series. I have 10 drones starting with mavic pro and use all 3 dji assistants

Any Samsung or IPhone/pad will work if and only if the CPU clock speed is a Minimum of ( 2 GH ) , a lot of the newer phones/Pads have now a slower CPU clock speed so be careful.

thank you , I spent over 1hr on phone with Support ( 2 times) and their fix was to send my RC-N1 in for repair $150 + out of my pocket, DJI Support SUCKS ! Note: I have a DJI Care Refresh paid plan HA !
