If I had an Android phone, I"d install from the Google store (I use IOS devices) so it's from the Applle App store. Flight restrictions are the same no matter what app you use.
That's far worse that I have seen with my iPhone 6 and 7 but it's definitely worse at low temps. Try attaching some adhesive body warmers and leaving the iPhone on charge as long as possible. It also helps to reboot and put the phone in Airplane mode before using DJI Go.
Like most questions of this sort, "your mileage may vary". I have had good results, with the latest features and bug fixes by always staying on the latest firmware (I have both a Mavic and the Goggles) and DJI Go4. Others don't like the NFZ stuff which was enforced in more recent upgrades and...
We need to understand the error message itself isn't the issue. So downgrading to a version where the error doesn't appear doesn't necessarily mean anything has been improved.
I would think 50% would be a pretty hefty duty. I wonder if that's what they actually charge in the Bahamas. If that's so, it's pretty horrible for the people the there.
It can be done on the PC but doesn't need to be. If your Googles are turned on and linked they will update when you do a firmware update via DJI Go4 without a wired connection involved. I have done several updates this way.
