I became interested in RC a couple of years ago when a neighbor posted a video he had taken with a GoPro mounted on an original DJI phantom. Upon searching for similar videos I stumbled across a video taken using a flying wing; the pilot launched from the top of a mountain flying FPV and swooped down the side of the mountain into he valley below where he flew a few feet above a river, under a bridge, back up the mountain and landed close to his take off point --- I was hooked! Loved the thought of "aerial exploring" so I decided I would work to gain the experience needed to do what this pilot had done, learning to fly RC planes over the past year, all the time following the developments in quadcopters - when DJI released the Mavic I thought it was exactly what I was looking for. Looking forward to the aerial exploring I've been wanting to do for the past several years - Mavic appears to be the perfect vehicle for doing so!
