    MINI 2 DOWN

    One thing nice about the desert, other than power lines, everything is pretty much less than 30-40 feet tall. You have to be in an established area (older community) with irrigation to get trees much larger than that.

    Is there a maximum temperature for flying a Mini 2

    I'm in AZ and I've flown in 110 degrees. My phone grayed out first. Definitely stick to the shade if possible as direct sun will cause problems. I even have problems with my phone graying out just taking pictures. Its isn't pleasant, so I go inside once there is any issues and don't hang around...

    Mini 2 remains best value in spite of mini 3

    I waited for the Mini 3 to come out before I made my decision. As much as I like the Mini 3, the Mini 2 works well enough for me and it pretty cheap for what I'm getting. Costco just offered $100 gift card on the Mini 2 package (2nd battery, SD card, soft case), so I jumped in. I got it $339...
