I haven't seen one active track video that would have me consider using that mode. It always has bad framing and jerky movments

All the DJI drones I've had (Phantoms and Mavic Pros) sometimes do odd things in the air, ruining shots. I kind of expect it happening very now and then. It's something I can live with for the price.

I agree with you there. It was the same with their update to the Action Cam. Suddenly it’s useless (internal battery AND storage) without different accessories attached, and when you attach accessories it’s no longer waterproof.

Not buy a drone that is in Beta;-) On. serious note, that is a very scary message to get if you are on a paid job. It would really freak me out. Have you tried formatting the SSD in different ways? (Not sure if that's even possible since its internal now)

I'm a DoP mostly, drone is an extra as I like to fly. I've used a lot of cameras on a lot of different jobs, and I can't say I have a complete understanding of all of them. Same goes for the Drones. ( I do have a pretty good understanding of the cameras I own though)
