I think he's just being obtuse. There's been 40+ DJI drone models over the last 15 years, none of them have refused a sw update. This year is not new. There's no reason to believe the M4P is the first. I remember people claiming the M4P won't...

I rolled the gimbal to both extremes going right and left I stopped a few times for obstacles but never had a change in stick ops. If it did it wouldn't be a show stopper...
