It’s only drifting right from take off. Not being able to calibrate your controller while in flight makes sense, but, swapping controllers in my opinion would eliminate my idea. There is what we call “drift” with faulty controllers…the spring on the port /starboard toggle could be that tiny...

Is it possible you have a touchy controller? Try another controller.

This outfit works great while droning. BTW… reflective tape does nothing

I use lidar regularly. I launch from my covered patio deck and RTH to the same home point. It has to dodge a couple of med and tall trees, but it has been 100 % reliable. I do stay on the controls monitoring its return just in case…you never know what can come up. It’s interesting to watch...
