Open the fly app take off and then connect the cable to the phone.

I make the fcc hack with older version of fly app in my phone and then i fly with 1.1.6 with my tablet and still in fcc so for me is working.

I just check for you, i was in fcc mode and i start normally with 1.1.6 fly app and of course because i have already connected my phone before i start my flight shows me the message "wifi settings changed" that means i was in fcc mode and changes the wifi to CE mode so i think also the 1.1.6...

Yes start without connect and let it hover front of you and then connect the phone and before landing disconnect the phone and then landing and this keeps always the fcc hack active if you make a mistake and forget to disconnect the phone just use the older version to do the hack again.

ok if you have another smartphone or tablet you can install there the older version of fly app to make the fcc hack and then use your primary device with the newest app to fly.

Use older fly app like 1.0.8 to make the fake gps hack and then you can use the newest fly app version, you can make the hack with 0500 firmware but no with 1.1.5 and above fly app

xqa Yes it's weird! but as i say before tell me i have to download and install and the moded firmware 0400 of the Drone hacks site or is ok with the downgrade i make from 0500 to 0400 with dji assistant to make the parameters work? I'm confused

W10, tell me i have to install and the moded firmware for saving the parameters? because i didn't install any other firmware i only downgrade to 0400 from assistant

thank you i do all this i change the battery type value to 0 but not any button to SAVE changes!! i have to install and the moded firmware for changing the parameters?? or i do something wrong?
