I'm having these exact same problems with my M2EA and M2Pro (edit: although at this point I have my SC the way I want so I'm not gonna factory reset to check if it rebinds automagically). While this is something I can deal with, the advertised functionality would be appreciated though.

Without scientific testing (or posting 'accurate' info), I would say it's noticeable if you're looking for it, but not terrible... maybe 1/8th or 1/10th of a second? However, that's a subjective measurement. If you're comparing it to flying racing quads, you're going to think it's absolutely...

Hold the back button on the Smart Controller and press the photo button on the top right of the controller. That should take a screenshot.

I just got mine in yesterday. It's really nice. The thermal camera is as great as others have reported... although I'm not sure if I missed something, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to switch to RAW .dng still photos. I'm starting to worry this Advanced model cannot do something...
