I may have happened before this last firmware, but I just now noticed that I again can turn off the red front leds while recording, and can control the bottom white led manually. I was pretty annoyed when these options disappeared back when the C1 firmwares were installed (Europe).

Yes, likely has to be a somewhat recent thingy :-) Big difference between 10 and 8-bit HEVC though. 10-bit would be so much smoother at the same bitrate.

I also experimented with files/bitrates...especially concerning that dreadful posterisation. I've found that with 10-bit HEVC I can get away with a bitrate much lower than that. 30-40Mbps has been perfectly fine, at least on the material I tested :-)

30 meters if you want to fly faster than 3 ms. The fact that there can be no people within a 30 m horizontal distance whenever you fly outside of cine mode makes quite a difference to me.

In my country, around 100 euro. In A2 you will have to fly 30m from people (5 meter in slow mode (max 3m sek).)

It ends up in the C2 class. You will need to be a certified A2 pilot, or fly in the A3 category (150 meter away from people).

I've "flown" mine many times inside a small living room. Lift off with the sticks in/down. Just flying very slowly, and always at decent distance to walls or obstacles. I had no problem controlling it, and I had no satellite lock. I make sure to turn off obstacle avoidance though. You don't...

Do you guys not even peek inside menu's? Yes, it should do that, depending on how its set up. If it didn't, it would be unusable for filming.

You can choose whether the gimbal, and the direction of the camera/drone, is programmed or manual, for each waypoint. By default they are programmed, so you'll have to switch them to manual. Look around in that waypoint editor :) Admittedly, I haven't tried flying waypoints myself yet. But I'm...

They are, depending on which part of the world you're located.

So, from those standards, an iPhone 13 Pro only supports bluetooth 4?

Ouch...No, not good :( It becomes a pretty crippled camera drone without control of those lights. They should make an A2/A3 version firmware..
