Tried out the Mavic for the first time in foggy weather at Morro Rock in Morro Bay, California. Got a lot of usable footage in about 45 minutes of flight.

Try switching the sharpness level on the mavic video settings to +1 and then reducing sharpness in post. This helped me tons with this sort of problem. This is because when the mavics sharpness setting is at 0 and below it automatically does this to the footage for some reason. Hope this is the...
