1 Tap AF for the rest of the flight.

Hi Guys

I am trying to just focus my Mavic Pro once for the flight for filming only and hoping it is possible.

I have posted in several groups and have received many different answers. Maybe they are all as good as each other, but wanted to know out of the 4 different methods below which are used by most or definitely work best.

1. In AF take off and focus on something approx 100ft then Tap to Focus and then leave alone.
   
   
2. In AF take off and focus on something approx 100ft then Tap to Focus and then lock AF.
   
   
3. In AF take off and focus on something approx 100ft then Tap to Focus and then switch to MF and then leave alone.
   
   
4. In MF set the focus to Infinity and then leave alone.

1. This works as long as you don't have continuous focusing enabled (not sure if thats the name of the option in there)

2. Should work even with that option above enabled.

3. Probably works, it should have the same effect as #2, never tried.

4. Terrible idea. You want your focus at hyperfocal distance, not infinity, while Mavic's terrible manual focus doesn't allow you to easily do that, if at all.
