im a long time amateur radio guy with some experience in the commercial side of RF..
over the years we built and tuned many antennas in the lower HF vhf and uhf bands ....up to about 470 MHz.
A MFJ 269 analyzer was the go to device for tuning antennas in those frequency’s and worked well.....They were 500 bucks or so.
Now that I’m wanting to built test and experiment in the 2.4 and 5.8 band for drones.....I’m having a hard time finding less than high dollar don’t wanna take it outside the lab equipment..
I do have a RF immersion power meter that is good for the price.....I get forward power readings......any modern day suggestions on measuring SWR.....reflected power in a feasible way at the low power we deal with in the UAV world ....
