Mini 2 A juvenile Pheasant Coucal.

Here's a couple of photos of a young Pheasant Coucal that was drying off in a Eucalypt after a heavy downpour. They don't usually fly, but when they do they do it like a chook; not very well. They are a type of Cuckoo that is native to Australia, but unlike most other Cuckoos, these birds look after their own eggs instead of laying them in another bird's nest.
