I bought the Mavic 2 zoom because it was the cheapest way to get into the Mavic 2 platform. Compared to the Phantom 2 Vision that I was flying I'm amazed every time I take a flight how much advancement has happened in just a few short years.
I do regret not spending the extra few hundred bucks for the bigger camera, f-stop settings, and D-Log recording of the Mavic 2 Pro, but you can do some fun camera tricks with the Zoom that wouldn't be possible on any other drone below the price point of a DJI Inspire.
