An early start saw us at Corrieshalloch Gorge just after opening, making car parking relatively easy - if not cheap at £5 for the day...
The Gorge is a 150-foot steep-sided river valley, surrounded by native trees and wildflowers, with the occasional small waterfall and bridge. The gradient is fairly shallow and the walk not too taxing - Lee was able to do it with walking poles after pulling his hamstring a few weeks earlier...
I did not arrange advance permission for flying my drones - the website just said permission must be granted by the site manager, not that it must be applied for in advance - so I used my OSMO Pocket3 gimball camera for most of the filming, and then took a flight from a car park outside the gorge towards the falls and used the x3 zoom lens on the AIR3 to capture a few aerial shots, which are included...
Next time I will have permissions in place and be able to fly the gorge with the AVATA2 and AIR3...
Anyway, a nice, chilled-out walk in the woods, with some beautiful nature and wonderful waterfalls - enjoy!
