A sunny early September Saturday afforded us the chance to take a walk at Rivington. Starting at the Bran Car Park, we visited Liverpool Castle, located on the banks of the Reservoir, then took the long walk up to the Pike, where the wind made itself very evident. A short drone flight, a picnic, then back down to the car through the gardens.
A total of 5 miles walked, with stunning views all the way around from Snowdonia and the Peak District to the Lake District - even if he furthest views were only the merest hints in the haze...
It would be good to visit here on a haze-free day!
