Ok, so I don't fly this drone much. But I noticed it's pretty slow in P mode maybe 7 mph? Is there a setting I can play with in the app or do I need to hook it up to assistant 2? TIA!!

@i am sure it goes faster than that especially if the wind is helping it along
as far as the warnings go ,it probably better to start it up where you intend to take off from on a none metallic surface

Yea. I normally start it in the garage, then walk out to the back yard. In the garage I usually get 7-8 satellites, as soon as I get it back yard I get around 17.

You should be seeing speeds of 22MPH in "P" or there about, the only reason I could see for it to fly slower is it is detecting a obstacle perhaps. IF your sure you are clear of everything around, click it down to Tripod mode...then after a few seconds click it back to "P" and check again. There is no speed adjustment to any flight mode other than your joystick and how far you throw it.

My first thought when you said you started it up in the garage. Do you have concrete floors or walls with rebar in them? Starting in this environment you are risking negative affects on your compass, and risking a fly away or other unwanted flight behavior.
