Hi all
I have a new (to me) Air 2, which so far I am impressed with.
However, yesterday, I was trying to use it to film an educational video tracking a motorcycle.
Drawing a box around the motorcycle, it identified as a vehicle so I selected Active Track. Bike then rode off but because I hadn't put the controller in/on the bike (rookie error), it didn't track.
Realising my mistake, I tried to re-initialise the active track. But could not, for love nor money, get the drone to recognise the motorcycle again, Everytime I drew around it and selected Active Track, it just told me that it could only track recognise known objects such as vehicles or people.
I could get it to recognise myself as a person but then it "lost" me whenever I got on the bike. I just could NOT get the drone to recognise the bike again a second time. I tried relocating the bike into different light/clearer areas, I tried moving further away or closer or higher above or different angles. And 3 batteries later I gave up.
I need to follow the bike from around 5 metres behind at approximately head height - the idea is that I film the rider's head movement, indicators, brake lights and position on the road. i have access to a private road in order to do this.
Any ideas please?
I do have Litchi but I was using DJI Fly yesterday.
Thanks
Pete
