Air 3s Smart RTH precision landing

Hi,

Ever since installing latest DJI Fly 1.16.4 FW, when doing an auto RTH from original take off point, landing is out by about 15cm. I always ensure the landing mat is recorded by hovering a few seconds after take off.

Have flown two consecutive days (yesterday and today) and have had the same result. Wind has been about 24mph at ground level.

Anyone else had the same issues?

you're concerned with the drone landing within 6 inches of it's take-off position?

that seems extremely acceptable to me considering all the variable

It’s not bad but she used to land within 5cm. Just used to it being super precise. Have got used to it being much bang on.

This isn't a requirement for precision RTH at all... only ascending vertically at take-off to a minimum height of 7m before flying out horizontally matters though, & not touching anything besides the throttle at landing also matters.
