Airmap and iPad

I know that I can get authorization ahead of time using my iPhone, but what if I'm planning on using my iPad instead and have no cell connection? I have the app on my iPad of course but if I get permission using the phone once it's approved will it transfer to the ipad or will I have to use the iphone for the flight?

You can use your phone for authorization and fly with the iPad.

The LAANC is an automated clearance from ATC (Air Traffic Control) to you on the phone as a message. There is no link to the controller or aircraft. You, the pilot, are cleared to pilot the designated aircraft subject to the clearance and limitations of the messaged clearance. I fly with my Smart Controller and communicate with the phone.
