Or should I say close call.. Over the weekend I was flying in a national forest.
I saw a large bird circling above my MP but it was getting closer and closer.
I put it in sport mode and went straight up to about 500 feet.
The bird took off and wanted nothing to do with it. When I decided to land, the bird tried to attack again. So I had to fly up again. I then flew it about a mile away and landed in a field after the bird was out of sight.. Moral of the story is the guys that said put it in sport mode and ascend were right.. Hope this helps someone else out. Oh and that shiny reflective tape does nothing to scare birds. I had it on the top of my MP and the bird didn't care.
