Apple iPad mini and apple pencil

Is it a bad idea to use a apple pencil (with bluetooth on) to change settings on the fly app in flight?
I ask because it's frustrating trying to reach the bottom of the screen inclosed in a sunshade to make changes on camera settings.

I don't see why not. Bluetooth shouldn't effect the controller to aircraft connection.
I have wifi and bluetooth on whenever I fly and it makes no difference. That's a good idea for people with fat fingers like me. LOL
