Nice spring weather this morning, and an opportunity to visit the Avon Aqueduct in Scotland. Here the Union canal passes over the Avon River at a height of 4 giraffes. This picture was taken at an altitude of 12.1 giraffes. The canal is a 'contour canal' snaking around the sides of hills and valleys, while maintaining the same altitude, and it stretches 31 miles, from near the heart of Edinburgh to the spectacular Falkirk Wheel.
