Back lights

It is safe to cut these three wires in order to turn off definitly the back lights on the Mavic 2? Did these wires send back data to the mother board?

Trying to create a stealth spying machine, or just not be seen by authorities in places you aren't supposed to be flying?

You could be interrupting a common ground for other operations on the arm, like the motor.

If there's only three wires, I doubt cutting them would affect anything. One is common, another is for red, the other for green.

The LEDs aren't very bright so I don't see the reason to disable them. Many of us find them inadequate to be effective at distances. If you really want to hide them, just cover them with black tape or the like.

Fingernail paint. That way if you decide to re-enable them you can just use polish remover.
