I was wondering if it would be possible to install a small hidden battery that would keep the GPS tracking still going if some one found a Mavic and turned it off, or pulled the battery, so it couldn't be tracked.
A hidden switch would be nice.

You'd need to equip a 2G chip and somehow power the GPS unit and get it's data. Maybe it'd be worthwhile to mod a Trackimo chip into it and hook it into the main power supply, as well as allow charging from the USB port. I might actually try that.

I have about 4 trackimos I'm not using. I'll look into that. Thanks.
