Battery Life??

Does anybody happen to know if our batteries life is based on Cycles or is it based on hours used? I on occasion run my battery down pretty low to around 20% but normally I bring it in her around 40% I wasn't to sure what this does to the battery life long term!

From my understanding these LiPo batteries do not like to stay fully charged as DJI has built in a discharge routine that one can setup (in days) via the DJIGO4 application. 20 percent is nothing crazy to discharge to.

From my experience, batteries that are cycled (Used) seem to have a longer life span than one that sits for months at a time without.
That includes batteries of all types like power tools.
Again, that’s MY experience and my opinion.

What you’re doing seems ok in comparison to some members dropping them down to 10% and below.
There’s a lot of reading on Usage and Storage of Lipo batteries.
