It isn't really an attack unless they hit your bird. I have birds fly around mine all the time. The first one or two times it scared the crap out of me, but now I have gotten used to it and usually I can just fly straight up and they will go away. Pigeons and Swallows are the worse for me for some reason. Makes for some interesting video though.

I fly a lot of R/C every now and then. Had an incident one time where a Hawk was going after one of my Park Flyers. Twice I had to take evasive maneuvers, (a quick dive) to avoid his attack. After the second time I brought the bird in. Figuring a foam plane ain't gonna hold up against some irate talons... Several folks in the green belt I was flying in witnessed it. They thought it was cool and said "do it again..." Ha!
