Indeed, they can swim. These monkeys are crab-eating macaques. The crab-eating macaque is omnivore, eating plants, fruits, seeds, leaves, flowers, roots, bark... It sometimes preys on vertebrates including birds chicks, nesting female birds, lizards, frogs, and fish, invertebrates, and bird eggs.

The conditions were not great, I was on a moving boat. I only used one battery and in the end, I didn't have a lot of footages from this expedition. The sequences seemed boring to me so I tried to correct the situation in post.
