Hello everyone,

3 weeks ago, the front left arm of my Mavic Mini was broken during a small accident. I ordered a new piece but today I used glue to put the broken piece back on.
It sounds solid and I am able to fold and unfold the arm.
I was wondering if it was risking flying the drone now. Is it likely to break in mid flight?

Here are photos of it before and after the repair.

I will change the arm when the new piece will come...

I will try a low fligth to see the result...

Give me your opinion.

it will fly but for how long that is the issue ,and at what cost if it breaks during flight

@Patrick Bergeron I see you are in Canada. If you want to keep the mini in the under 250g class you might want to weight the mini to be safe. If hitting the 250 mark maybe a bit of trimming on the glue in less critical areas might get you back under until the new arm comes in.
It is really in interesting issue if a "bit" of glue might send the Mini over that magical (or should I say "mavical") weight.

So I was curious and looked for "visual of a gram". That, of course, led to pictures of, ahem, some interesting products. But also, salt, sugar and gold.

I used JB weld and it seems to holding up well. In fact I think it’s stronger than the original material.

However, be advised this is dark grey color so it looks bit rough on a white Mavic Mini. There is a clear weld option but I didnt realize it until too late. But I kind of like it now. makes my MM look rough and tough :).
