The CAA is following up it's previous call for input with another one more specifically targetting at Class Markings and regulatory changes. It's the same format; a consultation document (PDF) and the online feedback form. Key objectives of this one seem to be mostly aimed at hobbyists and include:
It also looks like they're pressing ahead with the idea for a UK-specific class-marking scheme rather than trying to fudge their way back into somehow using EU markings within the framework of the post-Brexit regulatory changes and departure from EASA. Good luck with getting vendors and certification bodies onboard with that, is all I can say! (c.f. Apple deciding it was easier to globally go with USB-C rather than persist with Lightning connectors outside the EU and how that might affect vendors if the UK has unique requirements).
