This morning I found that the auto setting of the camera stopped working. The screen on my phone was totally white. I went in and set the camera on manual and then adjusted the settings until I regained my normal flight view. But after take off when I turned towards the sun of course the manual settings could not compensate for the additional light.
Looked on this forum for discussions about how to reset the camera. But found none. Took off the propellers and fired up the Mavic on my desk. Opened DJI GO 4 app and was told to update the airport data. Followed the instructions for doing the update. Update was successful.
Hand carried the Mavic outside and put the camera control back to Auto and guess what?
Everything is back to normal. Camera Auto setting is now doing its thing.
Whew. Thought I was going to have to send my bird back to DJI for a eight week down time.
