Can a mavic 1 have its camera replaced with the new mavic 2 cameras

News is the mavic2 will have interchangeable cameras between the 1 inch sensor and the zoom

I wonder if it will be possible to swap the mavic 1 camera for the mavic2 cameras

Would sure beat buying a new drone just for a camera

I don't see how it would be possible to change cameras from 2 to the 1 as it is much more then just the camera. It is software and CPU as well.

No chance. Physically different sizes, different image processors and control boards and everything else. Can't happen.

No, but the cool thing is the Mavic 2 Pro will be able to swap cameras with the Mavic 2 Zoom! They even said so during the end of the keynote.

It will need to be sent into DJI for replacement - they state warranty can be void if we do it

Probably means to change the camera you'll need to open the casing. Pity, they could have adopted a hot mount like the Inspire 1/2 series, but then again that would cannibalise their sales
