Can you edit the exported waypoint kmz file?

Can you edit the exported waypoint kmz file?
Yes, you can.

The KMZ file is simply a ZIP archive containing two files:
  • template.kml
  • waylines.wpml
The two files contain flight information in XML format. The template.kml file is the same for all DJI Fly drones and is not used by DJI Fly (it is only used with enterprise drones). The waylines.wpml file contains WPML code which is used to define the parameters of the flight path. If you understand XML formatted files and are comfortable doing so, these files can be edited.

Depending on your requirements, it may be desireable to use my utilities (see my profile) instead of editing these files directly.

Thank you Wes. I've been trying to use your utilities to create waypoints outside of the RC 2 due to the "zoom" issue. I was hung up on the zip vs kmz file name extensions but now I get it. This is huge for me. Thanks again!

Thank you for the information DJ Wes. I'll definitely have a look at your profile. Thankyou.
