I have a Mavic Air.
Wondering if it is possible while having my phone inserted into my Remote......
Is it possible to have a second screen active by connecting it via the USB port underneath my phone.

Sadly no, only one screen at a time.

I've heard of dual controllers being used for training. Where controller #1 is the master and can override anything controller #2 does. I assume both controllers have screens.

I was recently discussing this with another M2P friend who wants just fly and have someone else operate the camera and gimbals.

Hope that helps... Have fun, fly safe.

That's about the only way to do it.
Discussions have been brought up on how to connect the new Moverio, which is HDMI only, to a DJI setup. I haven't seen a satisfactory answer.

You could use WiFi connection to AC and USB for video, but then you lose control via RC.

Note though that even if you could have dual USB connection to your phone, the phone may be overly taxed. I tried a setup with the Tello, where the Tello app kept freezing if I used a USB HDMI adapter.
