changing the shutter speed from fraction to seconds!!

Hello,

I was watching some videos on youtube and i noticed that my shutter speed scale is different than others. mine is showing a fraction scale like 1/80 1/60 1/50... and it is showing m.m under the scale,but others have the scale by seconds and it is showing EV under it so how can i change it please.
