what do you mean mavic 2 pro?
I use this on my first drone, mavic pro, Now i am asking about my charge hub, first drone , I had did not have one. so for my hub, what do i connect it to?

I think what the post is saying (is): the charging hub is not what get's updated . . . the batteries do. The charging hubs are all (basically) the same MP, MPP and M2P. Charging hubs just regulate power and voltage to the batteries.
To answer your question . . . yes. Use the DJI Mavic Assistant 2
With my Mavic Pro (now Mavic 2) my batteries are updated once they are connected to the aircraft. However, you can connect the hub thru the USB port (to a computer) to get the batteries firmware updated but rarely does the hub get updated. Not much firmware there.
