I'm keen to buy either the Goggles 2 or Integra. I have a Mini 4 Pro with the RC2 controller. I'm not interested in using a motion controller, I prefer to stick with the sticks on the RC2.

Is it true that the screen on the RC2 will go blank with the goggles connected? Is this the same for either type of goggle?

I also wear varifocal glasses, as I'm getting on in years, and have both near and far vision issues. Which value in my prescription is relevant when selecting the correct Integra corrective lens or the adjustable lenses in the Goggles 2? Is the close or distance prescription?

I also have astigmatism, will this be an issue, and if so, how will that manifest itself?

I've seen that the Integra comes with empty frames so you can get precise lenses made up, can you do the same with the Goggles 2?

From the internet ( it must be true)
DJI Goggles 2 also comes with free eyeglass frames. If you require astigmatism correction, or if the goggles' diopter is unsuitable, you can purchase additional lenses and use the eyeglass frames to install them on the goggles.
However Goggles 2 only works with AVATA
Goggles 2 does work with many drones, here's a snip from DJI's website.

The screen does go blank when you connect the goggles by turning them on. As to the astigmatism, it depends. I have one but it has no effect on using the goggles, but I only use corrective lenses for my astigmatism under select circumstances, and flying isn't one of them.

I have Integra and Goggles 3. Custom corrective lenses for both from HonsVR, can see perfectly.

I have ~4 diopters of myopia and 3 diopters of astigmatism. With the myopia corrected using the built-in adjustment on the Goggles 3, the astigmatism is enough to keep me from reading the screen and doing settings.

So you're gonna need custom correction if you have at least 3 diopters of astigmatism. Given how bad it is, I doubt I'd accept 1-2 diopters, even though I might be able to make out text, but still have it out of focus.

You already spent hundreds for those Goggles. It's a no-brainer to spend $50 more to get the most out of that immersive experience and see it sharp and clear.
