Commercial pilot but drone newbie from Seattle, WA!

A big Texas Welcome to Rhuarc of Seattle!

LOTS of great stuff to shoot in the Seattle area! Spent a lot of time up there, but never with my drone. Now that COVID is pretty well behind us, I'm going to try to get up there. 737 pilot, eh? Which airline?

A word of caution: The City of Seattle has prohibited drones from taking off or landing on/from city property. Don't know what the penalties are, or how rigidly the ban is enforced, but be aware!

I'm sure you'll find this forum to be a great source of info and guidance as you grow as a photographer and drone pilot.

Thanks for the info and warning! I will for sure check out what the current rules are in Seattle.

Alaska Airlines based in Seattle.

I'm headed up to Whidbey Island for a short vacation later today and hopefully will have a bunch of stuff to shoot up there!

Ah - I did the same thing. Been a photographer for ages, and was looking for ways to expand my hobby and WOW these drones are fantastic. I'm so pleased with my Air 2S - your Mini Pro 3 will allow a lot of flexibility flying and getting shots we could only dream of before.
