Connection

Hello Guys, I'm a new Mavic pilot and owner. Have trying like crazy to get my Samsung 3 tablet or my HTC M8 phone to connect. Last night I got the tablet to connect, but video latency was screwed so I switched to my phone thinking I would get a faster and better video. This morn I went out for the first flight......and after 2hrs I could not connect. I would truly use some help?

What happened during these 2 hours ? did you fly normally ?
What app are you using ?

Something I noticed using my Moto Z is that it will only work if I plug the phone on the controller cable, and only after that I open the app (either litchi or DJI4)

Cannot access flight data folder using iTunes - frustrating. Couldn't find this issue on the forum.

The DJI app on my iPhone 6s+ appears on the phone's screen and pictures of the screen when I view using iTunes (below). Since it doesn't appear there, I cannot select it and the flight folder to export them.
All phone, iMac, and DJI software up to date. What am I missing??

I didn't see a thread with a direct bearing on this specific issue. After searching the web at-large, as well as a number of forums related to DJI drones, I posted here - thinking people who resolve connection issues may have insights into this issue.

Am happy to post on another thread if you've seen an appropriate one.
