This has happened to me occasionally in the past, where my RC Pro will start beeping during startup. Happens to my RC controllers too, and usually solved by moving the joysticks around. But yesterday my RC Pro started beeping during a flight and the left stick wouldn't respond to left/right turning motion, but luckily the drone was close and I could just back it up using the right stick and land it using the left stick down. Which would make me think the left stick is having some hardware issue with its left/right axis.
But I went into Settings in DJI Fly to do the RC Calibration and left/right motion on the left stick registers just fine. Both sticks and both dials register perfectly there it says "calibration complete" and I exit. But it's still beeping even through multiple reboots. And when I launch the drone a few feet off the ground it still won't respond to left/right action on the left stick.
Normally I'd just look at getting it repaired ASAP but the fact that the RC Calibration works fine is odd. I don't imagine anyone has any thoughts on this?
And is there a place to see what the cause of the beeping is? Seems odd to sound an alarm but not tell us what's causing the alarm exactly.
And if it does need a hardware repair, anyone know of a place I can mail the controller to have the repair done, other than DJI? I'm in the SF Bay Area if that's a factor but glad to mail it.
