Control coverage dissapointed

I have tested my mavic for over 2 weeks. One issue is that I can only control him maximum for 1km only, even I fly it at the golf court where clear of obstacle. Height at 150m. Anyone have some problem with me.? Do u think my RC doesn't work well.?? really dissapointed.!

Nope. The longest distance I pushed was almost 5km in a very mountainous and forested area. There could be significant interference in your area. Perhaps a cell tower is nearby.

Any wifi between you and your drone will interfere with the signal. The more wifi there is between you and the drone. The more it will interfere.
