I've read a lot of posts about flight battery care and storing at part charge to avoid undue deterioration. Does anyone apply the same regime to their controller battery? What's your technique?

@scro dont do anything special other than not storing it fully charged or letting it get to low flying 4 batts on either my MM or MPP leaves the controllers with between 2 solid lights ,or 2 solid and one flashing and then they are fine to store at those levels till i next want to fly then i fully charge them the evening before

I typically use a similar technique. I rarely get the luxury of being "allowed"? to fly 3 full batteries in one session so my controller battery typically hovers between about 40% and 100% and I try to have it at less than about 75% for storage.

@scro i do find that the MPP controller will use a little more battery with my ipad ,than the MM controller does for the same no of batts flown,i put this down to the fact that the MPP has a screen and the MM does not, plus the amount of power the different apps are using i flew 3 MM and 3MPP flights the other day and still had 69% ipad battery left and i have flown all 8 batteries with out having to charge my ipad in the past ,i will add that i always aim to be back on the ground with 40% drone battery left i have never let my batts get lower than that and have never had any swelling issues with any of them i average 18 to 20 mins per flight depending on how windy it is and find that is plenty of flight time for me at any one time
