controller damaged

I was going to charge my m2pro rc1b remote and I guess I plugged it in wrong and damaged the port. Now it will not charge. Do I have any options besides buying a new controller.

I think it can be repaired by replacing the keyboard holding the charge port, or I’ve heard of replacing the port directly.

Yes you can change the bottoms board. Easy fix.
