I tried asking this on the DJI forums and got shot down.
I'd like to put a cable splitter outboard from the controller on the Mavic Mini to allow me to plug in either a power cord OR my phone/device - NOT BOTH at the same time. I'm concerned I'm going to damage the "unique" female receptacle on the controller.
Anyone know of one?

Shouldn't damage the port any more than a normal cable.
Don’t know why you would want to but I see no reason not to.

I think the splitter will cause more problems than it solves, since you want a data sync quality cable for the video and telemetry data from the RC to the device.
A lost of connection could mean the loss of the drone.

Just buy a charging unit that matches the plug you use for phone/device, then you never need to remove the cable to charge the RC

For example most devices use a USB-C

The more adapters and longer cables, the more latency and troubles you will have. I will keep it simple and as short as possible with a good quality cable.

In the M2P i always use the bottom USB port for flying the drone and only the side port for charging the drone to avoid damage the Micro USB OTC port. Anyway the Bottom board is not that expensive if you need to replace it.

Zeus Fl whilst that maybe/is useful to some this is a Mavic Mini thread and its controller has only one port
