Curious About Power Lines

I was curious, is there anything harmful about using a drone to inspect power lines, transformers, switches, etc.? I have been within 3 feet of such equipment with no issues, but was curious if anything impacts the drone's performance other than physical contact. thanks!

Just stay close enough that you can watch with your eyes as well as using the screen. You don’t want your drone to have a fight with a transformer. A 30’ fall will be hard on drone parts

I quickly found out last year you can get very close to power lines and it has no effect on drone. Enjoy video and be safe.
