No. That was shot at 10:15AM about 45min before sunrise. We are getting roughly 4hr of daylight. The sun does come above the horizon but not very much. We are gaining somewhere around 5 or so minutes every day now...Really nice pastels in this sky. Is this max light for your days up there right now?
I was telling a friend that when I started photography with an SLR in 1969 the rule ( I lived in the lower 48) was to not shoot from 10AM to 2PM because the shadows/lighting was crummy. There is no such problem in Alaska even in the summerThat light state is wonderful. We were in Iceland in November and experienced the same semi twilight conditions.
