Yeah, nothing close to us. This had passed and was northeast over the ocean about 30 miles away.

Scientists are trying to harness the power from lightning strikes, who knows, maybe one day lightning strikes will charge drones.

Anyhow, I figured you where out of harms way while flying. Really beautiful picture, I have tried to capture lightning a couple of times, no luck yet.
